Coordinated Entry & Housing
Our communities agencies have worked together to create a collaborative that simplifies access to Denton County’s federally and locally funded housing programs. Access to housing programs starts with an assessment called Coordinated Entry, typically done during an agency’s intake process. Coordinated Entry assesses your needs, identifies the program(s) best designed for your need, and places you on our Housing Priority List for those agencies with federally or locally funded programs. As agencies have availability in their programs, they will pull households who have completed a Coordinated Entry assessment off of the Housing Priority List and work to verify eligibility and locate housing best fit for each household.
Agencies on the flier can be visited to start your Coordinated Entry.
Denton Housing Authority’s Wait List is separate from Coordinated Entry. Access to Housing Choice Vouchers or Section 8 Vouchers from Denton Housing Authority can be done by visiting their website.
