Make an Impact Today
The Barriers Fund was created in 2018 in order to assist households in overcoming barriers to gaining or maintaining housing by reimbursing a partner agency for up to $1,000 per household for approved items or requests.
The fund is intended as a ‘fund of last resort’, and is meant to be accessed when no other funding or resources are available in the community to ensure housing stability for people experiencing or at-risk of experiencing homelessness.
Case managers from across the housing crisis response system at over 13 different agencies have access to this fund to support their clients.
